The company name is built from two greek words : Vivlio = Book and Sofia = Knowledge. So in one word this would mean BookKnowledge*.

The requirements for the logo were to include both the ‘book’ and ‘knowledge’ concepts, and also present them in a modern way. This was both tricky and interesting to accomplish : the book and knowledge are always associated with the process of learning, which makes things a bit conservative. Since it’s a e-store the Vivliosofia logo aimed to a lesser resemblance to the traditional logos.
